David Book | Chief Technology Officer

David Book is a seasoned technologist and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience leading software development and cloud engineering projects across multiple continents. As Chief Technology Officer at Stacksy, David brings a deep technical acumen paired with a visionary approach to building scalable, secure, and user-centric digital products.

Over the past three years, David served as the Full Stack Developer at WARRRL, where he architected and delivered the Containers for Change Consumer App, the award-winning Collect platform, and the Service Provider Portal—solutions that underpin Western Australia’s container deposit scheme and have received national recognition for innovation and environmental sustainability.

A pioneer in mobile and cloud platforms, David has previously founded and exited multiple tech ventures, including Buzztouch, a mobile app development platform that grew to a global community of over 300,000 developers, and BikeBookings, which became the industry-leading workshop management solution for bicycle retailers before its acquisition. His work has spanned startups, non-profits, and enterprise solutions, often acting as architect, engineer, and mentor.

David’s technical expertise includes cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure), backend engineering (PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache), and full stack web and mobile development using JavaScript, Swift, iOS, Android, Java, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, and JQuery. His holistic understanding of system design and user experience allows him to lead both product architecture and delivery with precision.

Outside of work, David is a mentor to aspiring developers, an active contributor to open-source communities, and a passionate sailor. At Stacksy, he leads the technology strategy, oversees engineering excellence, and ensures that every product we build is engineered to make a difference.

Luka | Head of AI & Machine Learning

Luka is a seasoned AI and software engineering professional with a strong track record of delivering machine learning and data-driven solutions across a range of industries, including mining, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

With a Master’s in Applied Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor’s in Physics, Luka brings a rare combination of academic depth and practical execution to the design and implementation of intelligent systems. His expertise spans machine learning engineering, full stack development, backend architecture, and cloud-native deployments, with hands-on proficiency in Python, Docker, TensorFlow, Azure, AWS, and more.

Prior to joining us, Luka held a technical lead role at a big four consultancy, where he built secure cloud-based AI solutions; transformed machine learning proof of concepts to production; He developed predictive maintenance models for large-scale supply chain efficiency gain; led development teams across full stack development and the implementation of cutting edge generative AI solutions.

As Head of AI & Machine Learning, Luka leads the strategic design and technical execution of all AI and data science initiatives. He works closely with clients to translate complex challenges into scalable, ethical, and high-impact ML solutions, and plays a key role in shaping the innovation agenda of the company.

Luka is a strong advocate for responsible AI, reproducible research, software engineering best practice, and agile delivery. His leadership ensures our clients stay ahead of the curve in leveraging artificial intelligence to drive meaningful outcomes.

Viki-Lee | General Manager

Viki-Lee is an accomplished and people-focused General Manager with over 15 years of experience spanning corporate leadership, operational excellence, and strategic business transformation across diverse industries. With a career built on integrity, innovation, and results, she brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, people and culture, systems integration, and process optimisation.

Her leadership journey includes senior roles in both South Africa and Australia, notably transforming operations at PLACE Laboratory, Corporate Evolution, and Absolute Balance. Viki-Lee has consistently driven business performance through sharp financial oversight, strategic planning, and fostering highly engaged workplace cultures. She excels at translating vision into structured implementation—spearheading enterprise systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365, guiding corporate restructures, and delivering commercial outcomes through intelligent budgeting, stakeholder alignment, and HR development.

A Certified Barrett Values Centre Practitioner, Viki-Lee is deeply committed to values-led leadership. Her ability to cultivate strong, collaborative teams and implement systems that scale makes her a key pillar of Stacksy’s mission to deliver innovative, efficient, and people-centric technology solutions.
